Dr Abigail Marsh is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with a specific interest in the field of gut Health. Abigail has recently competed her PhD at The University of Queensland, undertaking a dietary intervention in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
Abigail Is a highly experienced specialist gastroenterology Dietitian. She currently practices privately with the team at Integrated Gut Health and as a clinical dietitian for Queensland health where she has worked clinically in numerous areas including gastroenterology, hepatology, oncology, upper and lower gastrointestinal surgery, cardiology, intensive care and weight management.
Abigail is an associate lecturer at the University of Queensland where she has delivered lectures on dietary management of gastroenterological disorders (IBS, IBD, liver and GORD) as well as nutrition in ICU for Dietetic students. She is also the primary author of several papers surrounding gut health and has presented this at the International Nutrition and Diagnostic Conference in Prague, Gastroenterological society of Australia and the Dietetic Association of Australia conference. Recently, she was awarded the Young Investigator Award at the Gastroenterological Society of Queensland annual meeting.
In her spare time Abigail loves running, swimming, cooking and relaxing at the beach.
Tom Smith is an emerging Accredited Practising Dietitian with 15 years of experience as an educator. His background has honed his compassionate communication skills, allowing him to connect with individuals on their health journeys. Tom combines evidence-based nutrition strategies with personalised support to help clients achieve lasting health outcomes in a welcoming, non-judgmental environment. With a genuine interest in how gut health influences overall well-being, he is committed to empowering clients at IGH with sensitive, client-centered care.
Chelsea Ricato is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with a special interest in gut health. Her passion for this field stems from both her clinical experience and her own personal journey with gut health challenges, giving her a deep understanding of the impact digestive issues can have on daily life.
Chelsea has worked in private practice and clinical settings, supporting individuals with a range of gastrointestinal conditions, including irritable bowel syndrome and food intolerances. She takes an evidence-based and individualised approach, tailoring dietary interventions to help clients manage symptoms, improve digestion, and enhance overall wellbeing.
With a background in both dietetics and food science, Chelsea has a strong understanding of how food composition and processing influence gut health. She also has experience in sports nutrition, helping active individuals optimise their performance and recovery through targeted dietary strategies. She is passionate about making nutrition practical and sustainable, ensuring her clients feel confident in managing their gut health long-term.
In her spare time, Chelsea enjoys cooking, gym training/boxing, and gardening.
