Dr Abigail Marsh is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with a specific interest in the field of gut Health. Abigail has recently competed her PhD at The University of Queensland, undertaking a dietary intervention in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
Abigail Is a highly experienced specialist gastroenterology Dietitian. She currently practices privately with the team at Integrated Gut Health and as a clinical dietitian for Queensland health where she has worked clinically in numerous areas including gastroenterology, hepatology, oncology, upper and lower gastrointestinal surgery, cardiology, intensive care and weight management.
Abigail is an associate lecturer at the University of Queensland where she has delivered lectures on dietary management of gastroenterological disorders (IBS, IBD, liver and GORD) as well as nutrition in ICU for Dietetic students. She is also the primary author of several papers surrounding gut health and has presented this at the International Nutrition and Diagnostic Conference in Prague, Gastroenterological society of Australia and the Dietetic Association of Australia conference. Recently, she was awarded the Young Investigator Award at the Gastroenterological Society of Queensland annual meeting.
In her spare time Abigail loves running, swimming, cooking and relaxing at the beach.
